About Contemporary Care Centers
Contemporary Care (CC) is a multidisciplinary group practice of mental health professionals that takes a personable approach to psychiatric care, with a thorough understanding that no two patients are precisely the same. After inheriting a 40-year-old practice, our clinical director, Dr. Tarique Perera, assembled a team of expert doctors for psychiatry, including psychopharmacologists and experienced psychotherapists, to provide the highest level of care in a compassionate and comprehensive manner.
In addition to traditional treatments like medication management and psychotherapy, they have achieved excellence at a national level in two groundbreaking treatment modalities: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato or esketamine (ketamine) therapy.
